Bennedict Mathurin
Bennedict Mathurin has 23 points in Game 5 loss
Thu, May 29, 2025, 4:46 PM
Bennedict Mathurin had 23 points (6-of-10 FGs), nine rebounds and two three-pointers against the Knicks in Game 5 on Thursday.
Analysis: Mathurin led the Pacers in scoring as Indiana lost Game 5 by 17 points to the Knicks. The 22-year-old played 25 minutes off the bench, by far the most he's played in these playoffs. Mathurin has scored 43 points in 37 minutes over the last two games. He figures to be involved once again as the Pacers will look to close out the series at home in Game 6 on Saturday.
Tyrese Haliburton
Tyrese Haliburton has eight points in Game 5 loss
Thu, May 29, 2025, 4:44 PM
Tyrese Haliburton had eight points (2-of-7 FGs), two rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block against the Knicks in Game 5 on Thursday.
Analysis: Haliburton followed up his brilliant Game 4 performance that brought the Pacers one win away from an NBA Finals appearance with a dud in Game 5. The 25-year-old point guard perhaps suffered more than anyone from the slowed-down pace of Game 5 compared to the rest of the series. Haliburton managed just eight points on seven shots as he was largely taken out of the game by the Knicks defense. The Pacers will have two more chances to close out the series, starting with Game 6 in Indiana on Saturday.
Aaron Nesmith
Aaron Nesmith (ankle) available for Game 5 vs. NYK

Pacers
Aaron Nesmith (ankle) is available for Game 5 against the Knicks on Thursday.
Analysis: Nesmith was also questionable for Game 4, but played 32 minutes as the Pacers took a commanding 3-1 lead in the series. The 25-year-old small forward was the hero in the Pacers' Game 1 victory and is poised to play through the ankle injury once again in Game 5. Bennedict Mathurin and Ben Sheppard could see extra minutes off the bench if Nesmith is limited in any way or re-aggravates the injury.

Aaron Nesmith (ankle) questionable Thursday

NBA Injury Report
Aaron Nesmith (ankle) is questionable for Game 5 against the Knicks on Thursday.
Analysis: Despite spraining his right ankle during the second half of Game 3, Nesmith started and played 32 minutes in Tuesday's Game 4 victory. Fans should operate under the assumption that he'll play on Thursday as the Pacers look to earn their first trip to the NBA Finals since 2000. If Nesmith is limited or cannot play, Bennedict Mathurin and Ben Sheppard will be of greater importance to the Pacers, with one moving into the starting lineup.
Bennedict Mathurin
Bennedict Mathurin has 20 points in Game 4 victory
Tue, May 27, 2025, 4:55 PM
Bennedict Mathurin had 20 points (5-of-8 FGs), two rebounds and two assists against the Knicks in Game 4 on Tuesday.
Analysis: Mathurin has only played sparingly in these playoffs but gave the Pacers a shot in the arm with his play off the bench in Game 4 on Tuesday. The 22-year-old small forward had 20 points in just 12 minutes off the bench. Mathurin excelled at getting to the free throw line as he made 11-of-12 free throws. Ben Sheppard has cut into Mathurin's minutes in these playoffs and that will likely continue. While Mathurin was more effective in Game 4, Sheppard has also been a key role player for the Pacers during this playoff run.
Pascal Siakam
Siakam leads Pacers to one win from NBA Finals
Tue, May 27, 2025, 4:54 PM
Pascal Siakam had 30 points (11-of-21 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and three three-pointers in Tuesday's Game 4 win over the Knicks.
Analysis: Siakam had his second game in the Eastern Conference finals with at least 30 points in Game 4. It's no coincidence the Pacers have won each of those games. The Pacers have made the Knicks play their up-tempo style for most of this series and that's a major factor in the Pacers' 3-1 advantage. Siakam has been a key player seemingly scoring at will against New York.
Tyrese Haliburton
Haliburton posts triple-double in Game 4 victory
Tue, May 27, 2025, 4:53 PM
Tyrese Haliburton had 32 points (11-of-23 FGs), 12 rebounds, 15 assists, four steals and five three-pointers on Tuesday, leading the Pacers to a 130-121 Game 4 victory over the Knicks.
Analysis: Haliburton was excellent from the opening tip in Game 4 as he led the Pacers to take a commanding 3-1 series lead. The 25-year-old point guard had 20 points, nine rebounds, 10 assists and zero turnovers in the first half, becoming the first player in the play-by-play era (since the 1996-97 season) to achieve this in a half of basketball in the regular season or playoffs. By the end of the game, Haliburton joined Baron Davis as the only players in playoff history with a triple-double, at least 30 points and zero turnovers. His efforts have helped bring the Pacers to be one win away from the NBA Finals. Indiana will have the chance to close out the Knicks in Game 5 on Thursday.
Aaron Nesmith
Aaron Nesmith (ankle) available for Game 4 Tuesday

Shams Charania
Aaron Nesmith (ankle) is available for Game 4 against the Knicks on Tuesday.
Analysis: Nesmith suffered a right ankle sprain in Game 3 and was initially listed as questionable. The 25-year-old small forward landed on Jalen Brunson's foot after a shot attempt in the third quarter of Sunday's Game 3. Nesmith played just 26 minutes in Game 3. He played the hero in Game 1 when he dropped 30 points in the Pacers' overtime win and seems poised to play through the ankle injury in Game 4 Tuesday.

Indiana Pacers
Aaron Nesmith (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's Game 4 against the Knicks.
Analysis: Nesmith sprained his right ankle during the third quarter of Sunday's Game 3, as he landed on Jalen Brunson's foot after attempting a shot. While he did return to the game during the fourth quarter after getting the ankle retaped, Dustin Dopirak of the Indianapolis Star reported that Nesmith was in pain . The expectation is that he'll be a game-time decision for Game 4. While Bennedict Mathurin has been Nesmith's injury replacement in the past, Ben Sheppard may be a better fit due to his superior defensive ability. No Nesmith would also mean Andrew Nembhard would be asked to defend Jalen Brunson more.

Tony East
Aaron Nesmith (ankle) finished Sunday's Game 3 loss to the Knicks with eight points (2-of-8 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, two steals, one block and one three-pointer.
Analysis: While the Knicks' rally from a 20-point deficit had already begun, Nesmith rolling his right ankle during the third quarter was a critical turning point. The Pacers held a 70-57 lead at the time, and while they would push their advantage out to 15 later in the period, not having Nesmith on the court was impactful on both ends. Defensively, the Pacers missed their best perimeter defender, and there were also spacing issues as the Knicks locked down on the other end of the floor. Not having a capable catch-and-shoot option in Nesmith factored into Indiana blowing the lead. They still lead the series two games to one, and Nesmith did return during the fourth quarter. But his injury is something to watch in the lead-up to Tuesday's Game 4.
Pascal Siakam
Pascal Siakam records 17/4/2 line in Game 3 loss
Sun, May 25, 2025, 5:29 PM
Pascal Siakam tallied 17 points (7-of-14 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), four rebounds and two assists in Sunday's Game 3 loss to the Knicks.
Analysis: Nearly unstoppable in the Pacers' Game 2 victory on Friday, Siakam had to deal with a different matchup in Game 3. With the Knicks starting Mitchell Robinson instead of Josh Hart, Spicy P had to deal with more size offensively. While he did shoot 50 percent from the field, Siakam attempted a series-low 14 shots in Game 3 while matching his Game 1 point total. For Tuesday's Game 4, he'll likely aim to be more aggressive off the dribble, especially if the Knicks stick with the Robinson/Karl-Anthony Towns tandem in the frontcourt.
T.J. McConnell
T.J. McConnell contributes 12 points in Game 3
Sun, May 25, 2025, 5:27 PM
T.J. McConnell accumulated 12 points (5-of-9 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds and three assists in Sunday's Game 3 loss to the Knicks.
Analysis: Again, McConnell gave the Pacers good minutes off the bench, but he did most of his damage during the first half. The veteran point guard shot 4-of-6 from the field in the first half, scoring 10 points to help the Pacers push their lead out to as much as 20. New York's bench was superior after halftime, helping the visitors rally for the win despite Jalen Brunson sitting for a significant stretch due to foul trouble. After outscoring their Knicks counterparts by 14 and 10 points in the first two games, the Pacers were only a plus-5 in bench points in Game 3. McConnell and the other reserves will aim to improve in Tuesday's Game 4.
Myles Turner
Myles Turner records 19 points, complete stat line
Sun, May 25, 2025, 5:23 PM
Myles Turner accounted for 19 points (6-of-12 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer.
Analysis: Turner has shot 50 percent or better from the field in each of the first three games of the Eastern Conference Finals. He's also recorded a complete stat line in each game, which has been good news for those competing in playoff fantasy leagues and DFS tournaments. The negative for Turner and the Pacers was that they failed to come up with an answer for Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 20 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter. Turner and the Pacers will look to rebound when they host Game 4 on Tuesday.
Tyrese Haliburton
Haliburton scores 20 points in Game 3 defeat
Sun, May 25, 2025, 5:17 PM
Tyrese Haliburton shot 7-of-15 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Sunday's Game 3 loss to the Knicks, finishing with 20 points, four rebounds, six assists, three steals and two three-pointers.
Analysis: Haliburton and the Pacers were rolling during the first half, building up a lead that reached 20 points late in the second quarter. However, Indiana got a bit stagnant offensively, and New York's 10-3 run to end the half kept the door cracked open. New York would grab control of the action during the fourth, as Karl-Anthony Towns scored 20 points, and Haliburton struggled to get his teammates in positions where they could be at their best. While his final stat line was solid, Tyrese can be much better than he was in Game 3. Indiana still leads the series two games to one, with Game 4 set for Tuesday.
Myles Turner
Myles Turner tallies 16 points, complete stat line
Fri, May 23, 2025, 4:55 PM
Myles Turner tallied 16 points (5-of-10 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), three rebounds, one assist, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer in Friday's Game 2 win over the Knicks.
Analysis: Turner has struggled with rebounding thus far. That said, he recorded complete stat lines in the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals, which the Pacers lead two games to none. Turner played 33 minutes on Friday, and the gap between him and New York's Karl-Anthony Towns from a production standpoint was far smaller than in Wednesday's series opener. Turner and the Pacers will look to take a 3-0 lead when they host Game 3 on Sunday night.
Tyrese Haliburton
Tyrese Haliburton dishes out 11 assists in Game 2
Fri, May 23, 2025, 4:49 PM
Tyrese Haliburton accounted for 14 points (5-of-16 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Friday's Game 2 win over the Knicks.
Analysis: While he didn't shoot the ball as well as in Game 1, Haliburton had another excellent night setting up his teammates. Not only did he match his assist tally from the series opener, but the Pacers' starting point guard only committed one turnover. Add in the rebounds and steals, and Haliburton still provided value to those competing in playoff fantasy leagues and DFS tournaments. Boasting an elite assist-to-turnover ratio of 22:3, Haliburton will look to help strengthen Indiana's grip on the series when the Pacers host Game 3 on Sunday.
Pascal Siakam
Siakam nets playoff-high 39 points in Game 2 win
Fri, May 23, 2025, 4:46 PM
NBA
Pascal Siakam amassed 39 points (15-of-23 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Friday's Game 2 win over the Knicks.
Analysis: Siakam was outstanding in Game 2, helping Indiana take a 2-0 series lead. He shot 8-of-13 from the field in the first half, scoring a playoff career-high 23 points. The Knicks didn't have an answer for Spicy P after the break, either, as he finished with a career-high point total and one blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. Indiana's offensive execution is why they're ahead in the series, and when all else failed in Game 2, they could give Siakam the ball and watch him go to work. Game 3 is on Sunday night in Indianapolis.
Myles Turner
Myles Turner tallies 14/5/2/1/1 line in Game 1
Wed, May 21, 2025, 5:39 PM
Myles Turner finished with 14 points (6-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer in Game 1 against the Knicks on Wednesday.
Analysis: Turner got off to a hot start to this game and contributed 11 points in the first quarter without missing a shot. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to add much after that, and he sat almost the entire fourth quarter before returning for overtime. Though Indiana was able to steal Game 1 on the road, Turner will need to be much better than he was after the first quarter of this game if they hope to advance to the NBA Finals.
Aaron Nesmith
Nesmith drops 30 points with eight three-pointers
Wed, May 21, 2025, 5:37 PM
Aaron Nesmith lit up the Knicks with 30 points (9-of-13 FGs), two rebounds, one assist, two blocks and eight three-pointers in Game 1 on Wednesday.
Analysis: Nesmith was unstoppable in the fourth quarter. He scored 20 points, which came on six three-pointers and two free throws. That was enough to help send this game to overtime, and while he didn't do more scoring, he made an impact on defense to help Indiana steal Game 1 on the road. 30 points matches his career high in any game, and his eight triples were a new career best in any game. Nesmith may not shoot like this often, but he got hot at the right time to help the Pacers take a 1-0 lead.
Tyrese Haliburton
Haliburton scores 31, Pacers take Game 1 in OT
Wed, May 21, 2025, 5:17 PM
Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 31 points (12-of-23 FGs), four rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and four three-pointers in a 138-135 win over the Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday.
Analysis: Seven games of this please. Haliburton hit an unreal shot at the end of regulation that bounced high in the air before falling in. His toe was on the line, which sent this game to overtime, and the Pacers were able to secure the victory to take homecourt advantage in the series. Haliburton had a phenomenal performance, which is what they expect of their All-Star. Haliburton will continue to lead the way as Indiana now sits three wins away from the NBA Finals. Game 2 will be on Friday in New York before the series shifts to Indiana for Games 3 and 4.
